The management were very accommodating with our unusual request for the safe keep of our motorhome. Safe and very nice electrified camping stands. Our previous long term stay there was awesome and gave us the opportunity to see our grandchildren. A real gem in the hustle and bustle of the big world. Thanks again.

Nice place enjoyed staying in the rooms. Friendly and good service. Also a nice place to camp.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I liked it for the most partbut I honestly didn't feel welcomed by the owner/manager. There was definitely an irritated tone to how she spoke to me, and since I don't know her, I can only assume why that was the case. Otherwise, the other people we met and interacted with there were incredibly friendly and nice. It was mostly the elderly in their caravans and RVs and everyone mostly kept to themselves. The place itself is quite lovely and is well taken care of and also secure with access control. There are various plug points and taps for water access around the camping site. There is also a lapa area with a sink and countertops as well as a metal table on the side for preparation of food if you didn't cater for that, and braai stands of varying sizes for your use. The ablution facilities are clean and well kept, just bring your own toilet paper (that is explained from the onset). There are showers as well, but I decided to just shower at home since it was only an overnight stay and not particularly far from home. The one major drawback for me is the noise from some nearby club or bar. I couldn't tell where it was coming from but it was really loud, completely ruining the tranquil atmosphere of the camp site and kept me awake most of the night. I came prepared with earplugs, but even they were no match for that music. But I mostly enjoyed my stay, the views are gorgeous and I love that it's so close and yet had that "out in the mountains" feel to it. It's worth giving it a try, at least once.
