County Arms

We chose the County Arms to host our recent wedding reception in July 2025. All I can say is what an absolute brilliant team from Sue on Reception to the team behind the bar to the food team. Absolute brilliant service. We dressed our own room as this isn't offered as part of the room hire only table cloths are provided, but this didn't stop us from dressing the room to our own theme.

Came in for breakfast. It was amazing. The food was the most STUPENDOUS surprise of culinary delights. I was told the chef was called Billy, a name I will never forget. Billy, thank your talents and commitments to my breakfast cravings, I am much satisfied! The sausage was a highlight

We stopped by for a meal a few days ago, the staff were lovely. Indoors, the decor is beautiful- there’s also an outside seating area which would be perfect to sit out in during the summer. My partner had the beef lasagna with garlic bread and he said it was all very tasty. I had the fish & chips, I’d say the portion was on the smaller side, but it was very nice. Food and drink prices are standard, not overpriced like a lot of places in and around Truro. We will definitely be back to try out the carvery soon!
