Courtyard by Marriot Phuket Patong Beach

Our family had the best time at the Courtyard by Marriot in Patong. We spent 4 nights and honestly can't fault them on anything. There facilities are great if you have kids, with the water slides and big pools. They also have an entire kids club and have lots of activities right through the day for kids. They have a great breakfast offering with a wide variety of food for everybody. The rooms are a bit small but we had the privilege of being on the ground floor facing the middle pool bar and it was so amazing being able to walk from the pool straight to the room and sit on the patio and enjoy the pool views. We have already decided that we will be back soon and we can't wait! Thank you to the entire team who made our stay so enjoyable and memorable.

Design: ★★★ The design of the hotel is quite standard and functional, but nothing particularly stands out. The overall look is clean but lacks a unique or memorable touch. Room: The room was adequate in size, but the low ceiling made it feel a bit cramped. Sound insulation could be improved I could easily hear conversations and showers from the neighboring rooms, which affected my comfort and privacy. Service: ★★★ Service was average. While the staff were generally polite, the level of attentiveness and efficiency could be improved for a more seamless experience. Breakfast: ★★★★ Breakfast was a highlight, offering a good variety of options and fresh selections. It was a pleasant way to start the day, with both local and international choices available. Facilities: ★★★★ The hotel’s facilities were quite good overall. The amenities provided added convenience and comfort to my stay, making it easy to relax and enjoy the property. Overall: Courtyard by Marriott Phuket provides a comfortable stay with decent facilities and a tasty breakfast. However, improvements in room design, soundproofing, and service quality would make the experience much better.

Great location and solid amenities like the pools, but some room for improvement. We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Patong Beach for 6 nights and overall had a great experience. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Patong Beach, steps away from the action. However, while it’s beachfront in location, there isn’t a dedicated beach area for guests, which was a bit of a letdown. They had 4 separate pools: an amazing kids splash pad & slide, beach club pool, swim up pool bar and a deeper pool. They should have adult only areas enforced. The property has a good variety of dining options, including a coffee and donut shop, Southern BBQ, pizza place, and poolside bars. Bonvoy members get an extra 10% off, which was a nice perk we took advantage of. Rooms are clean, modern, and have everything you need, though they are definitely on the smaller side, especially if you’re staying for more than a few nights. Breakfast was decent in terms of variety and taste, but the hotel seemed to struggle with volume. Many food stations were frequently empty and we often had to wait in long lines just to get a table. Overall, a great stay with lots of positives, but a few operational kinks to iron out—especially around breakfast and beach access. Would recommend for couples or short stays in the area.
