Best experience ever - While staying in this hotel last month, the good attitude of the staff, manager etc. was professional at all. Very good service was given despite charging a low price. From nice level of cleanliness, no mosquito on room and reception etc., everything make me happy a lot.The temperature was nice maintained in the pool. The water was so clean in the room. I giving five star rating to this hotel for good servicing.
We stayed as a family of four while visiting the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort, and had a great experience overall. The hotel was clean, welcoming, and had a pleasant atmosphere. Although we didn’t use the pool, it looked well-maintained and inviting. The reception staff were friendly and efficient, and our room was spotless, comfortable, and spacious enough for a family. The location was convenient for sightseeing, and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety and great service. The only letdown was the masala ginger tea. We specifically ordered a special masala tea and even insisted on a fresh cup, but it still tasted like flavored water — no real ginger or masala flavor. As tea lovers, this was quite disappointing. We’re giving 4 stars because of that; otherwise, it would have been a perfect stay.
I had high expectations from Courtyard by Marriott, but the experience didn’t meet even a basic 3-star standards. I had booked the stay for my mum’s birthday, and was assured—once over the phone at the time of booking and again from the room after check-in—that a complimentary cake and birthday room decor would be arranged. Despite multiple reminders, including one at reception, nothing was done. It was deeply disappointing. The breakfast service was also subpar—cutlery was missing on both days and had to be requested repeatedly, and the staff was noticeably slow in serving. Luggage handling was another major letdown. It took 2 hours for our bags to reach the room after check-in, and during checkout, we waited nearly an hour to get our luggage back. For a hotel that welcomes international guests visiting the Taj, such slow and careless service is unacceptable and disappointing!
