Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok Sukhumvit 20

Clean and efficient Marriott hotel located in buzzing Sukhumvit. Stayed just for a night but very comfortable and easy to get around everywhere. The hotel even upgraded me to a higher category. Staff are warm and friendly and genuinely want to assist their guests. Receptionist Pure-Pure immediately offered to get me a cab and arrange for a cash payout for the same, too. Definitely worth staying here.

What a beautiful and modern hotel that is barely a few years old. The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable and the staff are really lovely. Brwakfast is on the lower levels with breath taking views over the swimming pool. The shuttle to the airport is free and departs on the hour and half past from the hotel. A reservation is advance is essential. The rooms were also very quiet which is a nice change for an airport hotel.

For the price, the room and breakfast are quite good. But there's some shortcomings * Staff left an object in our room, it was strange to find a male perfume bottle that wasn't ours. Maybe this could break someone's relationship 😂 * The first floor and outside lobby often smell like sewer * There's a construction site literally next door, so you may need earplugs if you want to sleep in It's still good value, so just deduct one star
