Courtyard by Marriott Bremen

I had a train mishap and had to spend a day and a night in Bremen, where I'd never expected to be. Thankfully, the Courtyard is immediately next to the Bremen Hauptbahnhof, which made everything convenient! The woman at the front desk was friendly and witty, got me checked in several hours early, and even gave excellent recommendations on what to see, do, eat, and drink in the city. The hotel is right by a massive central park and is only a short walk to the old city.

My husband and I, recently visiting from the United States, stayed at the Courtyard Bremen, and we had a wonderful experience. The hotel is conveniently in walking distance to the Downtown Center, Schnoor, and Schlacte. The rooms and hallways were spacious, well lit, and comfortable. I have to take a moment to thank the staff. Aashish and Steffi were friendly and accommodating,. My husband told me that he felt the same way about Kim when he checked in. They smiled readily and made you want to smile in return. I felt like we were being treated with the utmost hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel, and I encourage you to take some time to chat with the staff. They are wonderful!

As a diamond member of Marriot, this is a hotel that is not very humanized. There is no free breakfast and not even Elite Bonus points. There is a more favorable parking lot of 8EUR for 24 hours 50 meters away. The hotel's policy is truly beyond imagination. Among all the Marriot hotels in Germany, this one is the worst.
