⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We recently celebrated a birthday at the Courtyard by Marriott Colombo ( Dinner buffet), and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! The food was delicious with a great variety, the atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, and what truly made the evening special was the exceptional service. A big thank you to *Oshan*, our server, who was incredibly attentive, polite, and friendly throughout the evening. He made sure we were always comfortable and had everything we needed. Also, a special mention to Miss *Ajani*, the F&B Manager, whose warm welcome and professional coordination made the celebration run smoothly. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made the event memorable. Highly recommended for anyone planning a special celebration!

I had a delightful high tea experience at Courtyard Colombo yesterday. The food spread was impressive – everything was freshly prepared and served at the perfect temperature, which really enhanced the overall experience. From savory bites to sweet treats, each item was well-crafted and delicious. The ambiance was elegant and relaxing, complemented by a lovely view that made our afternoon even more enjoyable. The staff were courteous, attentive, and professional, adding to the overall warmth and hospitality of the place. A truly pleasant and memorable high tea – I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a refined and relaxing experience in the heart of Colombo.

I visited Colombo Courtyard by Marriott for their Saturday buffet, expecting a high-quality dining experience, but I left quite disappointed. While the ambiance and environment were undeniably pleasant — clean, calm, and nicely set up — the food experience didn’t live up to the setting or the Marriott name. The buffet had a very limited selection of food. There were only a few main dishes available, with hardly any variety in terms of meats, vegetables, or international options. It felt more like a small lunch buffet than a proper weekend spread you’d expect from a premium hotel. The salad section was basic, and nothing really stood out in terms of flavor or presentation. The biggest letdown was the dessert section. There were only about 5 or 6 items, and none of them were particularly special or memorable. For a Saturday buffet, this was extremely underwhelming — especially considering the price charged. Overall, the experience felt overpriced for what was offered. You’re mostly paying for the nice ambiance, but if you’re going for the food, it’s simply not worth it. I hope they work on improving the variety and quality to match the standard that guests expect from the Marriott brand.
