Courtyard by Marriott Gurugram Downtown

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this hotel! The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast—an amazing spread with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to suit all tastes. Everything from the hot dishes to the fresh fruit and pastries was top-notch. I also want to give a special mention to Shamma, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and always had a warm smile.

Courtyard by Marriott Gurugram Downtown presents itself as a business hotel with a familiar brand name, but the experience is a bit mixed—especially if you’re expecting the full Marriott standard. The valet parking is available, which is convenient, but collecting your car can take time, especially during busy hours. The staff is polite and humble, and they do their best to assist, but it’s clear the hotel is understaffed, which affects service speed and responsiveness. We had to wait around 30 minutes to get our room, which wasn’t ideal after a long day. Thankfully, the manager stepped in and helped when we requested assistance, which was appreciated. The room itself was clean, well-kept, and comfortable, though the property overall feels a bit dated. That said, it’s maintained well, and everything functions as expected. This is very much a business hotel—efficient and practical—but not recommended for families, especially those with young children. The swimming pool is 5 feet deep, which makes it unsuitable for small kids. During our visit, there was no lifeguard or towels available, which was disappointing and felt like a lapse in basic service. The breakfast buffet was quite good, with a decent spread and attentive staff in the dining area. It’s one of the stronger aspects of the stay. One important tip: don’t expect the full Marriott luxury experience here. While the basics are covered, the finer touches that define the brand—like seamless service, premium amenities, and attention to detail—are missing. A decent choice for business travelers who need a central location and reliable basics. But if you’re looking for a true Marriott experience or traveling with family, you might want to explore other options.

It's a proper Marriott property. Expect that level of service & ambience ,which this chain offers. We were at the club level & the rooms are pretty spacious. The room service is decent & the food is quite decent as well. The breakfast has a good amount of options & they even customise for you in case of preference or dietary restrictions. The staff is quite nice & proactive. Looking forward to staying there again.
