From the moment we arrived, the service at Courtyard Iloilo was outstanding. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed for both comfort and functionality. We especially loved the breakfast buffet — a wide selection of delicious local and international options that changed daily. The pool area and fitness center were clean and well-maintained, perfect for unwinding after a day out. What really sets this hotel apart is the attention to detail and genuine hospitality. It felt like every part of our stay was carefully curated to ensure comfort and satisfaction. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, Courtyard Iloilo is truly a top-notch choice. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We had an afternoon coffee with friends and ordered chicken clubhouse and sisig pizza. Their ☕️ are priced farely, lower than Starbucks, and the ambiance is cozy and very good in conversation. I was surprised that the pizza sisig tasted well. I will come back there again and order other food on the menu.

The room itself looked great. Clean, cozy, and the night view was honestly beautiful. At first, we thought we were in for a comfortable stay. But there were just too many issues that ruined it for us. First, the air conditioning was barely working. I set it to the lowest temperature available (5°C for some reason), and it took a full hour just to drop from 26°C to 25°C. It continued to lower by 1°C every hour until it just stopped at 23°C. It didn’t cool any further. We had to call the front desk and wait for an engineer to come in and fix it. Then there was the shower. It was okay for the first few hours, but when we tried using the heater, it didn’t work. Another call to the front desk, and they had someone fix the line. Not a huge deal. But later that night, around 11 p.m., I went in for a shower and things got worse. Not only was the hot water gone again, but the water completely stopped running while I was covered in soap. We called the front desk, and they told us the water line was under maintenance and suggested we just wait. No warning or heads-up. I had to stand outside the room waiting, still covered in soap. After about 30 minutes, the water came back, but it was dirty and brown. It took another 30 minutes for the water to finally clear up. Also, there were no drinks or snacks in the fridge. No coffee, no tea—just bottled water. I know that sounds minor, but at a place like Marriott, you expect a bit more effort with the little things. All in all, the room looked nice, but everything else just made the stay feel stressful and disappointing. With the problems we ran into, it didn’t feel like the kind of service or quality you’d expect from a Marriott property.
