Courtyard by Marriott Lake Buena Vista at Vista Centre

This is now our second time staying here. We stayed here last year while on a trip for a dance competition. The experience was perfect. So this year we decided to stay here again. So glad we did. Many places close by to get food of your choice. Shopping and of course you are really close to the Disney parks and a short drive to the other parks and attractions . Shuttle buses from the hotel to take you to the Disney parks. Awesome pool with extremely huge tv to watch movies by the pool. Kid and adult friendly outdoor activities. Fully stocked bar and restaurant. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Place looks and smells clean with spacious rooms that won’t break your piggy bank.

Our stay at Courtyard Orlando Lake Buena Vista at Vista Centre was already amazing, but Jose took it to another level. He helped us with everything we needed, showed us around the hotel, told us exactly where breakfast was, and walked us through how to get to the Disney parks and how the buses worked. He even took the time to chat with us about the parks like a friend. We were supposed to leave, but we missed our flight, and honestly, I’m glad we did. Because of how great the experience was, especially thanks to Jose, we decided to stay another three nights instead of going anywhere else. That says everything. The hotel itself is spotless, with super clean rooms, fresh towels, comfy beds, and an awesome waterpark for the kids to enjoy on off days. It’s close to Disney, quiet at night, and just easy. But again, the service from Jose is what truly made it unforgettable. If you’re lucky enough to meet him during your stay, you’re in great hands.

We requested a room with an accessible bathroom since we both need to use walkers for mobility problems. We were given a bathroom with one grab bar that was positioned by the shower handle but not near the shampoo, body wash etc. I thus requested a shower chair but was told they have none. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. My son’s room however had a strong moldy odor. When he mentioned the problem no effort was made to fix it. The pool area was great and well maintained. We will most likely reserve rooms at the Marriott again if we can definitely know we will be given accessible rooms that meet ADA standards and rooms that do not have an odor.
