Courtyard by Marriott London City Airport

I can't even describe how much I enjoyed my stay at this hotel in May. I stayed here as I was attending a convention at the excel. This was my first time staying at a hotel on my own and I felt so welcomed. I arrived before my check in time and the staff were very understanding and explained that I could check in early for a small fee, which I happily paid. The hotel room was spotless, and I was amazed to see they did room service for food, I'd never been in a hotel with that before, the food was amazing. The breakfast was also amazing. I'm coming back here in October and I'm so excited

The place is spotless and incredibly convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the airport. But what truly sets it apart is the staff. I had accidentally booked for the following night, even though I was flying out early the next morning at 6am and just needed a spot to rest for a few hours. I called reception, but couldn’t change the booking online as it showed the hotel was fully booked. That’s when Annis stepped in, he told me to just ask for him when I arrived and he’d try to help. And he did exactly that. His support was genuinely appreciated, and I wanted to let Courtyard know how much it meant. That’s the kind of service every hotel should strive for. Also, the food was fantastic, definitely try the beef burger with caramelised onions, and the waitresses were incredibly kind. Highly recommend

The staff was attentive and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good because it included pastries, cereals, fruit, infusions, coffee... The size of the room, bed and bathroom was great, but the carpet was a little bit smelly. The ventilation system didn't work properly for two days, since inside the room you could smell the weed other customers were smoking outside the hotel. During the weekend we could hear a lot of noises in the corridor and people partying in their room. Even though these two incidents, our stay was comfortable.
