Courtyard by Marriott London Heathrow Airport

I chose to stay at this hotel for 7 nights during my London trip. It's very close to Heathrow Airport, and the room that they booked me was on the third floor (It has a nice view of the airport runway where I see planes land often!). Another thing was that I'm grateful they allowed me to check-in early due to my flight arriving in the morning hours. I did get there too early so housekeeping was preparing the room and I had to wait about an hour. The front desk did give me a drink voucher for the trouble which I gladly used to get a bottle of ginger ale. The room was very cool! It's very clean, and housekeeping arrives on a daily basis to help with anything you need. The price per night was pretty good (I got 7 nights for 753 British Pounds which is about $1020 with exchange rates at the time).

Beautiful hotel! The staff is friendly and helpful. We only had to have an overnight stay but I sure wish we needed more time here. The room was wonderfully laid out. Had everything you need. Air conditioned, fridge, coffee station, bottled waters, closet, desk, luggage rack, just everything you need. The bathroom was perfect and was stocked with soap, body wash and shampoo. I really couldn’t ask for more and definitely would stay here again. Be sure to go to the Indian restaurant. It was top notch as well! Even if you only want a drink and sit out in the balcony for a nice view of the planes taking off.

Excellent hotel within a few minutes of Heathrow. Welcome is always friendly here and the rooms are spotless, plenty of room, comfortable and well equipped. In the lobby area is a small shop and a cafe with Starbucks coffee. Restaurants are both really good and the prices are not excessive considering the location. Sky bar has fabulous views over to the Airport and has a pub grub style menu. Jewel in the crown is their Indian restaurant, which is fabulous. Superb flavours and an interesting menu. Staff here were particularly friendly. The mark of a good hotel isn't always about the good things, but how they deal with problems should those arise. We paid for car parking and gave our registration details on check-in. A week later, we received a parking fine from Parking Eye for not paying to park. We contacted the hotel for assistance, and the matter was sorted quickly and with the minimum of fuss. (Thank you, Evrard Pereira!) That's the kind of service we can remember, and it shows why this is our hotel of choice before flying from Heathrow.
