Courtyard by Marriott Melaka

We had an impromptu stay at Courtyard by Marriott Malacca, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful experience. From check-in to check-out, the level of service was exceptional. Every staff member we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. Even those we didn’t interact with directly contributed to a smooth and memorable stay — from housekeeping to the kitchen staff and everyone behind the scenes. Their teamwork and attention to detail truly reflect the hotel’s high standards. Special thanks to the entire team for turning a spontaneous trip into such a delightful experience. This level of customer service is a standout and definitely deserves recognition! Highly recommended — and we look forward to returning again soon.

The hotel is located just off the main road leading to the touristy areas in Melaka. It is a huge tall building so it shouldn’t be difficult to find. They offer a variety of rooms, the standard ones are nice and tastefully decorated, the beds and sheets are clean and soft too. Toilets are clean with a good selection of essentials, but note that they don’t include toothbrushes or shavers, you will need to ask them from housekeeping if you need them. The pool is located a few floors above, it is a nice infinity pool that is clean and properly maintained. The cafe offers a good breakfast with a nice spread from Asian to Continental choices. These are good and properly prepared but really nothing to write home about. Price is not low but this is one of the best choice of hotel you can find in Melaka right now.

Great stay but not 5-star experience. The bed, breakfast and service is fantastic but the super poor soundproof destroys it all. To be honest, it depends on your luck whether you get noisy neighbours or not. For 3 nights straight, I can literally hear noisy laughs and conversations (word by word if I can understand their language) from my neighbour until late night, causing me to have a lack of rest and sleep. 🫩 This is a first for me, experiencing it from a 5-star rated hotel. I may want to consider before booking an expensive room from here again because I would want to pray hard that I don’t get neighbours who talks, laughs and parties the whole night when I need my sleep the most.
