Courtyard by Marriott Munich City East

Absolutely enjoyed my stay at Courtyard Munich City East. I was here for two weeks and it felt like a home base more than just a hotel. The staff were warm, helpful, and professional, which made a big difference during a longer stay. The room was consistently clean and well-kept, with a bed that was actually comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, and it stayed reliably hot, which I appreciated more than I can say after long days exploring the city. Location-wise, it’s hard to beat. You’re just a few minutes’ walk to the train station, and getting to Marienplatz, the golden angel (Friedensengel), or any of the major sights is quick and easy. I ended up using this spot as my base to hop all over Munich and beyond. There are also a few nice cafés and bakeries around the area. The hotel is located in Haidhausen which is such a quaint and conveniently walkable neighborhood. Would absolutely stay here again.

The room stayed cool, the bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the pillows were soft and fluffy (and best of all—not down feathers, which I really appreciated). We slept better here than we had in days. Plus, the location is super convenient. It’s just a short walk to the train station, and getting to the airport was a breeze. We hopped on the S8 train from platforms 5 & 6, and it couldn’t have been easier. Highly recommend this stay to anyone who wants hotel-level comfort with the charm of a local experience.

Place was comfortable and convenient as there is direct train to the airport and the journey takes 30 mins. Appreciate the gesture of having snacks and some gummy bears when we first entered our room. This hotel uses carton wasser box instead of the conventional plastic bottles. Complimentary fruits near the reception for the hotel guests.
