Room was nice for my family of four. Two Queens. Housekeeping came and straightened up for us too, which was lovely to see after a long day out! Breakfast Buffet near delicious and the staff was kind! Will definitely go back with my family. Price was reasonable too
Loved our trip to Pasadena, California. Such a great vibrant, small town VIBE. The hotel is just a few blocks from some great restaurants, bars, coffee shops and stores...live entertainment. We didn't spend much time at the hotel, but the environment was great, clean and quiet. The elevators went down for a day, but easy access to the parking garage from each floor, definitely made this easier. (Your provided a Pass)
I wish I had trusted my instincts and left the moment I checked in. And I'm sharing this because I don't want another woman to feel the way I did, which was unsafe, ignored, and frankly, dehumanized. The energy here is really weird, especially from the start. The staff, especially the male employees, were overly familiar. Not friendly, just familiar. Like, one of them commented on how I looked too pretty to be traveling alone. I first laughed it off, but it didn't stop. I caught him watching me from across the lobby later that night. I tried to switch hotels the next day, but was told I'd lose my deposit. The housekeeping staff came in without knocking while I was in the shower, and I reported it. The manager said it was probably a miscommunication. I did not get an apology or a follow-up. Multiple times, I'd call the front desk with a request, and somehow a male staff member would appear at my door instead. Once at 11 PM, nothing I asked for was that urgent. Worst of all, when I asked to speak to a female manager or supervisor, they claimed none were available, for THREE days. The whole place gave me the impression that if something happened to me here, it would just be ignored or spun. I don't know what kind of culture is being run here, but it's not one where women are respected or safe. You could not pay me to stay here again. If you're traveling as a woman, especially solo, I strongly recommend staying literally anywhere else.
