Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Willow Grove

I visited friends who enjoyed their stay at the hotel. While there, I thought the lobby was very nicely furnished and super comfortable -- great place to relax and hang out -- and the landscaping in the courtyard looked lovely. We got some fun cocktails at the bar and the staff was very nice and solicitous. I was impressed.

We were a little nervous before our stay at the Courtyard Marriott Willow Grove because we saw a review mentioning the hotel had lost power and wasn’t answering calls. When we tried calling ourselves, the phone went straight to voicemail, which made us even more worried. But we decided to go anyway — and we’re so glad we did! Everything was totally fine, the hotel had power, just the phone lines were down and our stay was perfect. The staff was wonderful, super helpful, and made us feel completely at ease. So happy we didn’t cancel — would definitely stay again!

The facility is older, but well kept and the staff were really pleasant. Our room had a refrigerator on the counter because it was a replacement that doesn't fit in the original's space under the counter. The room was also missing a microwave. The hot tub was not working. They are in the process of updating the whole hotel and it shows, but it's still a great stay at a vastly reduced (about 50% off) current price. The rooms are clean and have have quality materials (for a hotel).
