Courtyard by Marriott Prague City

Overall, a great choice! While it is a bit far from Old Town, we appreciated it even more as it gives us a bit of downtime from the all-day walking and hustle and bustle. Team members were really helpful -- we needed bubble wraps for some glass ornaments we bought and they gave us a bunch and proactively gave us scissors and tape. Now that is foresight! Would definitely stay here again!

This is a solid hotel. It’s nice. Not spectacular. My interactions with the staff have been nothing but excellent. Thoughtful, kind people who speak impressive english.This is of great comfort to American travelers and is rather appreciated. The gym is one of the most efficient uses of space I’ve seen. They are limited on cardio machines again due to space, but the weight utilization and capabilities for the footprint is really impressive. It was a very thoughtful approach. The breakfast. Let’s discuss the breakfast. They have everything. Eggs, bacon, potatoes, omelets, cereals, fruits, vegetables, breads cheeses, spreads for breads, juices (though no fresh juice), jam dispensers, various yogurts and chia concoctions. It is one of the most comprehensive spreads I have seen. I ate on a Saturday so I am not sure if this is available during the week but if you book, I would strongly encourage you to get the breakfast. WELL WORTH IT. Bed is comfortable, room is plenty big, AC works fine. They have an iron which I appreciate. The television offerings are narrow for english but I do not really care much. Maybe in the future having USB plugs would be quite helpful. I would definitely stay here again and the value truly is impressive. It’s a bit of a walk down to the city center area but it was great exercise, especially on the way back, as the hotel is on a bit of a hill compared to the city. I enjoyed walking and seeing the city on the way down and back. I would certainly stay here again.

i stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Prague City in May 2024. While the hotel isn’t luxurious, the space is very practical and functional — great for travelers who value comfort and convenience. The room was clean, spacious, and well-lit, with all the basics you’d expect from a Courtyard brand. One highlight is its strategic location — just across the street is a shopping mall, which made grabbing meals, essentials, and even just wandering around extremely convenient. It’s also well connected to public transport, which made getting around Prague very easy. Not a destination hotel, but a very solid and efficient base for exploring the city.
