Courtyard by Marriott Puebla Las Animas

This hotel is very well located and also CLEAN! It seems a bit old but definitely well kept. Both, night and day staff were very courteous. The fridge wasn't working but I didn't use it. You can include breakfast for about 250pesos. It's definitely a good clean hotel.

Stay far away from this dump! Careful! Noise everywhere, even the staff is lying about anything, breakfast is in a makeshift garage. Their greed goes so far they let you stay in a construction site ! The hotel is in shambles, in a total renovation phase with a lot of heavy pressure hammering and demolition noise in the 5th floor. You can hear it even from the opposite side of the street! And that’s a highway ! They don’t publish this fact which makes it pretty much unbearable between 9am and 6pm. After that time it’s quite comfy and not noisy. I like the rooms but it’s just too loud. If you need to do some online work during business hours from your room forget about it. I complained and got promised some extra points which I never received,it figures,looking at their general business ethics (omissions,cheating,lying). They offered me to cancel but knowing the rest of the hotels in this city I decided just to stay. Puebla in general has pretty AWFUL hotels. I might be coming back next year when it’s been restored. It’s exactly opposite the La Comer supermarket, my favorite store in Mexico. The room was pretty clean, cleaning staff does a good job. The breakfast room is in a makeshift garage atmosphere, it looks like one at least. although it’s more of a cramped repurposed 60 m2 meeting room with like 100 chairs. Very deceiving not to mention the substantial and noisy works on the websites. They told me it was on the Marriott site but not even there I found any mention about this construction. The pool is closed as well. Positive point: staff was very polite and friendly. They offered me 3000 ridiculous Marriott points for the noise and guess what? I never got them. Don’t argue with this pitiful Emilio guy, just do an official complaint with Marriott Corporate. This hotel is exactly how a Marriott should not be. No honor, no honesty and liars.

The pool is closed and the gym is closed they start making noise around 8 am The hotel is under construction. The reason I booked with this hotel was for the pool and gym. The worst thing is that they don't tell you anything until you arrive. If they had called or emailed me earlier I would have gone with another hotel worst experience with this brand. I will be asking for a refund
