My family and I stayed here for one night while visiting Sapporo. During check-in, I asked Mr. Kirii at the front desk if it was possible to switch our king room to a twin room, if available. He was incredibly helpful and immediately checked with his colleague, Mr. Nagai, who kindly assisted in moving the crib and other baby items for our daughter. Their willingness to help made our trip so much more comfortable and stress-free. Thanks to them, I’m confident that the service at this hotel is outstanding. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I visit Sapporo.
Phenomenal hotel, located 2 blocks from the subway exit, it is easy to both ride the subway into the deeper part of downtown or a leisurely walk approximately 15-30 minutes depending where you want to go. No club lounge for platinum elite members, though received a discount on breakfast each morning. In addition, choosing the food and beverage credit provided a 1500 yen credit that could be applied to breakfast. Opted out of housekeeping for a 5 night stay and received drink vouchers for the bar and could order off the happy hour menu. Overall a great experience, the staff were friendly, great location, and the breakfast had phenomenal western and Japanese variety of food! Well worth the extra cost. Onsen is located on the second floor, smaller but also great.
Is this a Marriott Courtyard??? This is unlike any Courtyard I've stayed at in the USA. This is way better! The hotel felt new. The service was professional and attentive. The location is the perfect distance from the hustle and bustle of Sapporo. Service 10/10: MIKU and HANAKO went above and beyond recommending fantastic options for breakfast, dinner, and massages. They were very helpful. Not only front desk clerks, but great concierges as well. Room 9/10: Modern & Japanese design, light colors, and well kept made the room feel new and clean. It's not too small like many hotels in Japan, but a decent size for the price. Price 8/10: We went in July. I think it's low season-ish? It's hot and humid. The price was reasonable. What you get for the price is great! Food NA: There was a massive tour group, so we skipped the hotel dining to avoid the crowd. This was fine as we wanted to try the food in Sapporo. Gym 8/10: The facility was decent sized and has various types of equipment from treadmills, free weights, to cable machines. I think this is a great hotel for families and a fantastic value for the amazing service and new hotel feel.
