Courtyard Schwerin

Best place to stay in Schwerin. Incredible service, clean and nicely designed rooms, awesome breakfast and they went out of their way to get me vegan and gluten free options! Amazing. Would absolutely stay again.

The hotel appears to have recently changed owners and had undergone renovation (some of the outside is still being worked on). It used to be a NH hotel and now belongs to Marriott Courtyard brand. The interior is modern and on Courtyard standards, as is the breakfast buffet with lots of cold as well as warm options. Rooms are spacious, clean and tidy, but the doors somehow won't close properly, e.g. from the bathroom. TV, AC and WiFi were working well. Overall it's a cosy place, suitable for families as well. Only downside was that the walls were a bit thin, you could hear people talk on the corridor and how they close their room doors. Staff was friendly. It's located quite a bit outside the city, close to a big shopping mall but it's easily accessible by car from a big street around the corner. Public transport is available but only during normal day hours as is usual in smaller German towns.

Rooms are old fashioned. Especially carpet, matress and toilet need to be renovated. Sry to say. Location is great. Breakfast is nice. Lobby area fits perfectly to my needs. Staff is polite and price is reasonable.
