Craig y Dderwen Riverside Hotel

A hotel and a location that seems like it was picked up from the pages of your favourite fairy tale! Craig-y-Dderwen is an amazing place in a fantastic location. While the price reflects that, I did not for a moment feel as if I was overpaying for anything and it was totally worth it. What makes this hotel even more worthwhile is the lovely staff and Michelle is by far the warmest, kindest and most amazing person you could ask to help make your stay beautiful and memorable! Had a fantastic 3-night stay for our trip to North Wales. Great location, beautiful grounds, and a top-notch three course dinner on our last night after a memorable day hiking the nearby mountains. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful afternoon tea today, sat at a table right by the river! The service was exceptional (they remembered to make a space, and set a place, for a wheelchair user, which we'd advised of, when we booked - it makes a huge difference to know that thought and care is there!) 😊 The food was excellent. Very well presented and it all tasted delicious. The lemon sponge was very light and had a good taste of lemon, the home made profiteroles had plenty of filling, the scones were slightly warm and the home made blackcurrant jam was very good. We had a lovely afternoon and would highly recommend the afternoon tea! It was also super relaxing, sat in the window seat by the river 😊
