This was such an incredible meal, the drinks were delicious and the appetizers were top notch. The meals themselves were honestly some of the best eat out meals we have ever had. We had read some reviews online and it sounded good and honestly even the good reviews did not do this place justice. If you are debating, do it. So full and so happy, headed back to our hotel. Our server Sagar was friendly and attentive and made sure we always had everything we need! 😊
The reservation for two Oceanside rooms for four night was booked weeks in advance but when we arrive they only had one room and then twice asked if were checking out days before what we booked. And never did get us the second Oceanside room. The housekeeping was horrible. Never gave us clean glasses and left the dirty ones in the room same for towels. On one of the days they thought we were checking out they never cleaned the room and we asked they just went up and threw the top blanket up with sheets crumbled underneath. The food at the restaurant was excellent but one night we waited over and hour and half for our food. The waitress was extremely rude and said the wait was because of our appetizers which came over an hour before the food. Other people came in after us and finished eating well before our food arrived. Beautiful views but staff needs to get some service education.
When we arrived, the older woman at the front desk made fun of our friend who is at the beginning of dementia. it made me really mad. The mattress in our room was so bad we both slid into the middle of the bed. A nice woman at the front desk told us all the mattresses are soft and need to be replaced. She put us in a suite because she said those mattresses are not used as much. The water tasted terrible. We were given free water bottles. Soundproofing between rooms is poor. We were also disappointed in the one meal we had in the restaurant. I feel the Crest was once the grand Dame of Prince Rupert but it is in a desperate need of a major renovation.
