Pretty old Facilities. However, Very Well Maintained, and Very Clean. Dinner was very Good Taste, but very bad Serving. One Server tried sliding a Dish in front of Customers. Now the Server should STOP His Way. Other Servers were very Nice. I think about Dessert, the Server had better prepare another space then serve it Customers. Because some of Desserts are Sticky. Anyway, A Very Good Hotel❗❗ I like there very much.

This 4-Star Hotel is ... unexpected. It's a holiday resort on the edge of the historic city of Salamanca. The local bus service comes to the front door and for euro 1.60 takes you to the city centre. The Hotel resort has a large outdoor swimming pool, a childrens play park, tennis courts, several terraces, extensive gardens and ... a caravan, motorhome and camping site. The hotel is opulent in a traditional Spanish style, it might by some be described as old fashioned. But, it's very well maintained, spacious, exceptionally clean and the staff are so obviously well trained, dressed immaculately and achieve a balance between efficiency, friendliness and professionalism. There is a very spacious public lounge with comfortable sofas and chairs. Several conference rooms and a stylish reception area with a grand staircase leading off from it. The restaurant is large, with a large outdoor terrace for drinking, dining and relaxing. Service in the restaurant isn't Fine Dining, but the cutlery, tableware, glasswares etc all would be at home in a Fine Dining establishment, as indeed would the staff. Again, immaculately turned out, providing a service very close to that expected of silver service. The food is exceptionally well presented, clearly cooked by professionals who care about that they prepare and send to customers, and the portions ... you will not go home hungry and oddly (but generously) the restaurant team embarass no one as they willingly provide bags and containers for customers to take home what they couldn't manage. The common understanding & agreement being that this food is too good to waste. Exceptional vale for money, a truly exceptional restaurant experience. The bar area has lots of seating encouraging guests to sit at the bar and chat to other customers. It's an elegant bar from times gone by. We didn't use the rooms, but have a feeling they will match everything else that's great about this fine hotel.

Room 109 smelly, window without light,I was shocked by it. Service ZERO helpful, I am with 14 people, we are a group of 15, I can say I have never seen more rude people in this industry, pointing out and especially breakfast, you feel unwelcomed Location out of town, NOTHING walking distance around it, on weekends no life. I am so so disappointed by the way staff behaviour and how old and unmaintained the place is, it's sad to leave such a beautiful city and come over here for the night.
