Rooms are nice although its a little old.The staffs are warm and helpful. The location is nice and has good views especially the pine trees. The negative side is that you have to walk for 10 to 15 minutes going to the pool and play area.Good thing they have shuttle service free of charge.
Stayed in their 2-bedroom suite (5th floor, unit G) last weekend and it was spacious, quiet, with a really nice view. Their hotel staff and guards were accommodating and friendly. Another thing we enjoyed was their breakfast meals which we asked to be served at our room. They offer breakfast buffet every Sunday, 7-10AM. Cleanliness could be improved though, some parts of the kitchen and bathroom were dusty and moldy. If you plan to work, note that their internet connection is unreliable, we brought our Globe pocket wifi but seems most of the rooms are really wifi dead zones. We weren’t able to watch Netflix in the living room TV too due to intermittent internet connection. P.S. Lots of cafes around the area—from the main entrance you have Coffee Project, Cafe Voila, Ruined Project, Napa, Windmill, Andersens, Dear Joe (check the map I uploaded for more details). Though these cafes are known for its steep price but just so-so coffee and pastries. But if you’re after the aesthetic, then go for it. 🙂
I don’t normally write negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was so horrendous I feel obligated to warn others. I booked a 2 bedroom suite for my brother's wedding over the weekend. When we arrived, the elevator in our building was broken without tentative time when it will be fixed. Our suite was in 5th floor and we have a senior citizen with us so climbing 5 flight stairs is not an option. Not to mention we have boxes and luggages for my brother's wedding souvenirs and suits. They offered to move us in another building with 2 separate studio units instead. Although not ideal, we reluctantly accepted since we are all exhausted and wanted to start the prep for tomorrow's big event. When you think this hotel cannot get any worse, the building they put us has no wifi! We discovered that after we unpacked and settled!!! We weren't even informed that the building has wifi issue before moving us there! Good thing the elevator in our original building got magically fixed so they move us back into our 2 bedroom suite. But of course this hotel never fails to disappoint us even up to the last minute of our stay there. Upon checkout time, the elevator malfunctioned again so we had to take the stairs down to ground floor! Any of their guest towers do not have a designated parking lot. You have to park at your own risk on the side street. If you get unlucky like us, you won't have enough street parking near your building so you'll have to park further away and has to climb the steep hill to get back to your hotel. I just can't believe that someone has the budget to build a hotel but not think of guest parking lot! As for the pricing, this place is an overpriced scam. They charge luxury rates for what barely qualifies as a budget motel experience. The rooms are outdated, poorly cleaned, and reek of stale air and disappointment. Don’t even get me started on the so-called “breakfast.” If your idea of a satisfying morning meal is stale coffee, sodium overloaded meals, and some sad-looking fruits, then you’re in for a treat. Otherwise, you’re better off eating at a gas station. Definitely not worth waking up early for. That said, I have to give credit to the staff. Despite the poor facilities, they were kind, polite, and genuinely tried to make our stay better. They helped carry our luggage when we switched to different building and during checkout. They gave their best effort to respond to our requests with a positive attitude. I feel sorry for this hotel's staff. Their management put them in such despicable situation that they have to explain the shortcomings of the hotel facility to angry guests. I totally understand this is beyond their control and pay grade so the hotel management should do something to upkeep this rotting hotel. The staff efforts were the one bright spot in an otherwise disappointing stay. Bottom line: this hotel is a complete ripoff. There are far better options in the area that actually care about their guests. Save your money and stay elsewhere.
