Lovely one night stay with breakfast after a wedding. Nothing was too much trouble and staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
Good location just off the M5. Basic room but more than adequate. Comfortable. Had to ask for towels though. Shower not the best but overall good value for money. Safe area, comfortable and warm. Good for a one night stay.
First, do not go to this hotel based on Google. It's actually at the nearby "Crown" on google. We spent some awkward time driving around peoples houses and driveways based on google maps. Second, do not stay in rooms 10 or 11 when there is any type of hot weather. They do not have windows and instead just have skylights. They are in the hottest part of the hotel and were very uncomfortable sleeping (even with the provided fan) when it is hot outside. Only one towel was provided in a 2 bed room. Overall though the service was great, the pub had a great vibe, breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean, and the location was ideal for a stop along the M5.
