Crown Hotel Eindhoven Centre

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is fantastic. My room was very comfortable and I loved the fact that my bathroom had a bath as well as a shower. I liked the fact that there were plenty of plug sockets in the room. I loved the Nespresso coffee machine. I loved the selection of breakfast items each morning and tried most of the food that was on offer. The dark brown rye bread rolls were delicious. I appreciated being able to leave my bag at the reception for the day after I checked out. I very much look forward to staying here again.

Our room was ok, a little dated feeling, but that didn’t really matter. There were a couple of very minor maintenance issues: the main ceiling light in our room didn’t work and the shower had a leaking wand. Both things were not at all significant. The hotel staff and location were absolutely fantastic. Each interaction I had with staff members was very pleasant and left me feeling valued.

Great location—just 100 meters from the city center, which is a big plus. However, the beds are uncomfortable, and breakfast is below average with limited options. The gym equipment is old and mostly broken. Also, rooms aren’t cleaned unless you specifically request it. Decent for a short stay, but I wouldn’t recommend staying longer than 2 nights.
