**I’m writing this review based on the discounted price I got based on a one night weekday stay. The good: The man at the front counter gave us a room on the top floor which was very kind of him, we were originally on the 16th floor. This made for a spectacular view of the city. There are six lifts meaning you won’t have to wait long. King size bed was comfortable. Bathroom spacious. Close access to the food court and casino. The bad: Along with the other reviews, the TV service is outdated. I think it’s $16 to buy a movie on demand. I’m not fussed but I think guests who book a 4 star hotel at Crown would expect more. There is no direct food service to your door, you have to grab it yourself. I will say if I paid a standard price for this room, I would be disappointed. For a discounted price, no complaints.

I found The Crown Promenade Melbourne to be an absolutely fantastic hotel, based on my five-night stay. The Crown Promenade Melbourne was truly fantastic. This hotel perfectly blends modern comfort with impeccable service, and its prime location in the vibrant Southbank precinct makes it an ideal choice for any discerning tourist. From the moment I arrived, the staff was exceptionally friendly and efficient, making the check-in process a breeze. The room itself was a highlight, with its contemporary style and stunning city views through the floor-to-ceiling windows. It felt spacious and well-appointed, providing a relaxing sanctuary after a long day of exploring. The hotel's amenities are what truly elevate the experience. The "The Deck" area on level 3 is a masterpiece, offering a heated infinity pool and spa pool with breathtaking views of the city skyline. It's the perfect spot to unwind and recharge. The state-of-the-art gym is also a welcome feature for those who like to stay active while on the road. What makes this hotel a standout is its seamless integration with the larger Crown complex. This gives guests access to a world of entertainment, dining, and shopping options right at their doorstep, from the casino and live shows to high-end boutiques and world-class restaurants. This convenience is a major plus for a traveler who wants to make the most of their time. I was also delighted by the personalized touches, such as the comfortable beds and luxury linen that ensured a restful night's sleep. The attention to detail, from the cleanliness of the room to the quality of the amenities, speaks volumes about the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. The overall experience was one of pure comfort, luxury, and convenience, and I would highly recommend The Crown Promenade Melbourne to anyone looking for a truly memorable stay.

The pool was beautiful, and the kids loved it. Very clean and lots of seating. Even when it's busy. The room was nice and had fantastic views. Was clean and no issues. The robe was so nice to wear. Perfect to hop into after a swim. The bed was perfect. Valet stuff have great personalities. Breakfast was nice but very expensive for what you get. For the price you should get a complimentary coffee. First 5 star hotel I've been to where you are expected to pay additional money for a coffee. Get machines and if someone wants a real coffee they can pay. Couldn't adjust temperature in the room. Very loud at night from plumbing, i assume. The bathroom needs to be updated. The shower was horrible. Couldn't get a good temperature. Either to hot or freezing. Toilets should be separate. Most hotels we stay at have separated the toilet. Tv was outdated. This room felt like i had travelled back to 2007.
