Crowne Plaza Amsterdam Schiphol

The staff are friendly and helpful from the airport shuttle drivers to the front desk and the staff at the restaurant downstairs. Also, there has been a wonderful improvement of the beds with has had a positive effect on my quality of sleep. I'm looking forward to my next visit here, keep it up!

Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Bedrooms are a good size and beds are comfortable. Definitely a good hotel to stay specially if you're on a business trip. Comfortable, practical and affordable enough for short stays. Very close by the airport. You can see the airport from your window though (appreciated) you can't hear the aircraft noises! Don't know about the breakfast as I didn't included it in the price and found 22€ to much expensive for a self serving breakfast

Located about 5 minutes drive from Schiphol airport. Quite conveniently located. For this reason it looks like a popular choice for many Airline flight crews. Reservation was in order and was able to check in quickly. The room was comfortable although on the smaller side. 2 people with luggage was a bit of a squeeze. Nice Espresso coffee maker which I used. Bed was comfortable with enough pillows. Temperature in the room was conducive to a good nights rest. Bathroom was well appointed. Nice shower, although the knob the switch to the overhead shower is a bit hard to pull on when your fingers are wet and slippery. Nice set of amenities. The hotel is a bit old and tired looking and badly in need of a face lift. As a Platinum member I was not allowed use of the Lounge. Apparently they only offer that to Spire members. Anyway, they only had drinks (no food) in the lounge which I was not interested in.
