We stayed here for a quick layover on our way to Turkey. What a convenient location and fantastic staff. This hotel is easily reached by the Metro 3 blue line (doesn’t run 24/7 though so they will arrange taxis for you too). It’s so close to the tourist attractions using the Metro. The rooms are clean and staff is attentive. Highly recommend to other travelers.
We are staying at the Crowne Plaza Athens- City Center (an IHG property) for our post cruise evening. We fly back to the US tomorrow. This is a lovely hotel near the City Center. It has a spacious, clean lobby, and a nice seating area. Check in was a breeze! She even upgraded us to Club Level! ❤️. The rooftop restaurant was beautiful and had a nice breakfast buffet. The rooftop pool is small, but clean and the space is welcoming. The room was small, but really nice! The bathroom was much larger than I expected, and had a separate shower and bath (unusual over here). The air conditioner worked well, which is very important to Dirk; I’m usually freezing. All in all, I’d definitely stay here again if we do another cruise from Athens! Best of all, it was FREE! I used points and miles to cover the hotel!! SCORE!!!
I stayed here June 21-June 22. Hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable beds, just a little dark. Has a rooftop pool and park right across the street. Restaurants are close by, couple minutes walk each way.
