Crowne Plaza Budapest by IHG

We had an amazing stay at this hotel during our trip to Hungary for the Hungarian Grand Prix! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were incredibly helpful throughout our entire stay—whether it was arranging transport, offering local recommendations, or assisting with last-minute changes, nothing was ever too much trouble. The location was ideal for attending the Grand Prix, and the hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and we truly appreciated the friendly atmosphere and attention to detail. Thank you to the entire team for making our holiday so smooth and enjoyable—we’ll definitely be back!

I’ve stayed here twice. The rooms were clean and the property has been taken care of. The breakfast was very good but get there early. The food in the restaurant and the service was great. The diabetic cheesecake was amazing. It’s inside the west end mall which is very convenient. There is a movie theater inside as well as many clothing , book, souvenir stores, and restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful. The fitness center is small and hot. However there is a nice rooftop deck that has an amazing view. The location is close to nyugati palyaudvar and the tram. I was able to walk to the Danube from there. It was about a 45 minute walk. Highly recommended.

Clean and modern hotel. Excellent location - next to a train station, metro, several bus lines, and a large shopping mall. Tourist hop on-hop off busses stop in front of the train station, a 5 min walk from the hotel. Club level rooms come with lounge access, local wine, beer, alcohol and snacks served in the evenings, continental breakfast in the mornings. Very friendly staff and everyone I've interacted with was fluent in English. Would not hesitate to stay again.
