This hotel is well located, right in the heart of Chengdu, which makes it easy to get around. One of the highlights was the indoor pool—clean and well-maintained—but do note that wearing a swim cap is mandatory. If you don’t bring one, it’ll cost you 40 yuan to buy it, which felt a bit unnecessary. Our room was large and clean, but definitely dated—the style and furniture looked like something out of the late 1990s or early 2000s. That said, it was functional and comfortable enough for our short stay. If you're looking for convenience and don’t mind older decor, it’s a solid option.

The room looks nothing like the pictures. The carpet is filthy. Wallpaper coming off, and you can hear people next door talking and people walking on the corridor. It’s shabby and such a mood killer. The cupboard is dusty. I don’t even dare to use the towel. It has this suspicious yellow stain. I still have another night in this hotel. I cannot wait to go home. The location is strategic but i guess it’s better to stay in newer hotel with a little bit of walk to the shopping center.

Very old hotel, surrounding reasonably maintained, however, needs better upkeep- carpets need to be shampooed on changed . Many rooms have strong cigarette smell even though they are non-smoking rooms. Breakfast buffet is mediocre- many items not replenished if one comes late, eg. After 8.30am. Food quality needs to improve. The only good point is the location in the city centre.
