Crowne Plaza Chengdu Panda Garden is a fantastic choice, especially if you're here to see the pandas! Its proximity to the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base is unbeatable, and the free shuttle service they offer makes visiting the pandas incredibly convenient. My room was spacious, clean, and really comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was excellent with a great variety of options. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist guests. While the hotel has good dining, you'll find more local food options by heading towards areas like Chunxi Road, which might require a taxi or a bit of a journey, as the hotel is within a larger park area rather than a bustling city center with many immediate shops.

They helped us with everything from ordering food and drinks to arranging taxis, always with a smile and a willingness to assist. Their patience and kindness made us feel right at home, despite the language barrier. One of the highlights of our stay was the surprise upgrade to the Panda Room. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and had a unique charm that made our stay even more special. It was clear that the hotel pays attention to every detail to ensure guests have a memorable experience. The hotel’s location is also fantastic, offering a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to Chengdu’s attractions. We especially enjoyed the serene views, which added to the overall relaxing atmosphere. We cannot thank the staff enough for their exceptional service and genuine care. They truly made our trip to Chengdu unforgettable, and we would highly recommend the Crowne Plaza Chengdu Panda Garden Hotel to anyone visiting the city. Perfect hotel if you are visiting the Panda Park as the park is under 10 min drive from hotel. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to the Panda Park at certain times. Very nice rooms and great food. Super kind and competent English speaking staff who helped me find my way from the airport to the hotel and described this in a lot of detail. Thank you, Nicole!
