Great hotel in a central location. Staff were very kind and helpful with good English communication. Breakfast had and excellent choice including fresh Vietnamese hot food station and of course eggs cooked as you like along with a grand selection of other dishes hot, cold and pastries. Room service dinner I had the prawn cerviche was both visually stunning and extremely yummy, really top class. Great conference facilities also. Would happily return again.

Stayed in a suite room at Crowne Plaza City Center Ningbo. This was by far the most outdated Crowne Plaza I’ve experienced. The hotel felt more like a local Chinese property—dimly lit and slightly eerie. Room interiors were old, amenities minimal, and the “welcome fruit” handed at the front desk included a cucumber—quite unusual. The executive lounge setup is unclear online, so to clarify: afternoon tea is served in the lobby lounge (15:30–17:30) with basic snacks. The club lounge opens only for cocktail hours (17:30–19:30) and offers mostly Chinese dishes and bread, with few Western options. Breakfast is also primarily Chinese. Decent location, but I’ll choose another hotel next time.

Absolutely worst IHG I have ever been in, and that's saying alot. Booked a suite, and got given a children's room with bunk beds. There was also no fridge, and it was filthy. So I asked to move. Room #2 is disgusting. Broken fridge, urine on the floor in front of toilet, mold on the ceiling, stains on EVERYTHING. Coffee is open, sugar spilled. Paint slathered on everything is the only update this place has ever had. Smoking hotel so whole place wreaks. Ac doesn't work. Disgusting. Will never be back, and I'm asking for my money back and leaving. I travel China semi annually for weeks at a time, and the worst IHG I have seen anywhere.
