We booked this hotel twice during our recent vacation to Ireland and Scotland, as a stop over before the next flight. The hotel is conveniently located by the airport providing superb shuttle service back and forth. This hotel accommodates family room which saved us from booking 2 rooms. The dining experience was excellent. Had good spread of Irish breakfast. During our second stay the A/C wasn't working but the hotel staff more than made up for it by providing fans, free breakfast and apologies. I honestly don't remember this kind of hospitality from any chain hotel in recent years.
I was using the multi storey car park for our trip out of Dublin airport. We were greeted and helped with navigating our way to the airport via the shuttle bus. Our young kids needed to use the toilet, which was no problem (was a problem with the hotel next door). Upon returning from our trip, our car would not start due to a flat 12v battery. The road side recovery said it'll take 2 hours. Upon enquiring with reception if they can assist, the staff went out their way to help. They offered to have my family come in and make ourselves comfortable while the situation was being resolved. They spent considerable amount of time trying to help. Note, that I was not staying at the hotel. If my experience is anything to go by then the guests should be well looked after.
The location is ideal, especially with the convenient airport shuttle service that runs every half hour from the hotel to the airport. However, finding the shuttle from the airport to the hotel was a bit confusing—clearer signage or instructions would be helpful. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and quiet. I appreciated the on-site restaurant and the complimentary coffee available even if you don’t opt for the breakfast buffet (which is €15). I did dine at the hotel for dinner out of convenience, and the food was well-prepared and tasty. That said, the pricing definitely reflects the convenience and proximity to the airport—expect a bit of a markup. Right across from the hotel is a lovely park—perfect for a refreshing walk or some fresh air. My room was spacious and well-appointed, with thoughtful amenities including complimentary personal items like a toothbrush, toothpaste, and razor. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely return!
