Crowne Plaza Düsseldorf Neuss by IHG

Overall we have enjoyed a great stay. From the moment we arrived at the reception, we got checked in by a nice & helpful young gentleman who got us upgraded to another room category which we appreciated, in particular for my Mom. The rooms are spacious, well fitted out with a good size bathroom, full of amenities, espresso machine and lots more. We dined twice in the restaurant, the food and service was remarkably good. Nice breakfast buffet spread. Loved the pool with warm water. The hotel is only a short drive to Düsseldorf Kö.

Came back to stay the second time here in May 2025. The service does not align with 4 stars. Nothing is provided in the room no matter how many calls you make, so it is definitely not convenient. They do however have amazing views from some of the rooms.

Not a great experience. Our room wasn’t ready. actually, it was completely dirty. Took nearly an hour at reception to sort it out while they looked for a replacement. Just... wasted time. And no real apology or gesture, which you’d expect at this level. We didn’t stay for the food or use any amenities, just needed a place to sleep. Even for that, it didn’t feel worth it. If you're visiting Düsseldorf, probably better to book something closer to the center. This one just didn’t deliver.
