My husband and I stayed in an ocean view room and, as always, we were extremely satisfied with our experience. The environment is clean and well-maintained, and waking up to the view from the balcony in the morning is incredibly relaxing. We also love the hotel’s seafood buffet on weekends. This time, we stayed during a weekday, Danny at the reception provided excellent service. We had accidentally booked the wrong room type, but he was efficient and patient in helping us change to the room we wanted. Without his assistance, our trip wouldn’t have been nearly as perfect. We highly recommend Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay on the Gold Coast!
After booking at crown plaza we ended up reading the reviews and got nervous about our stay, but we went in with an open mind, and we are glad we did. The staff were friendly and helpful, when we got to our room we were pleasantly surprised. We had an ocean and river view, the room was really nice, the bathroom does need a bit of a more modern upgrade but it was nice. The buffet breakfast was good, the scrambled eggs were really creamy. The only minor negatives would be the water in shower, it kept going from hot to cold so made showering abit difficult and the parking garage was a little abit smelly. The tram and servo right across the road was great. Overall it was a really nice stay, especially waking up to the sound of the ocean and the kookaburras
Room was ok. Nothing special. Spa cold. Breakfast below standard for a 4.5 hotel. No love shown with the food. Omelette was cooked on the grill and had bits of whatever was cooked before hand. No milk options for those that can’t have cows milk and/or gluten free bread. Dinner at relish was atrocious ! Seriously Had better at the browns plain hotel two days ago. Quite disappointing really. Wouldn’t recommended.
