Crowne Plaza Hefei by IHG

Stay in this hotel was really comfortable,suitable for business and tourits persons.Breakfast hall is too huge around 300 people can sit at a time.Problem is staff don't understand the english properly which needs to be improved.Room is spacious with all amenities like swimming pool,Gym etc...It also has some shops in the ground floor. Only thing I found was the pricing varies by a lot. But when the pricing is right, my first choice is always Crown plaza.Nice lobby Staff are polite Room is clean and tidy and spacious

The Crowne Plaza Rongqiao is a good hotel, so let's get the major downside over with right away: they had turned off air conditioning building-wide in October. Yes, October usually hardly requires AC in Hefei, however, well, there was a two-weeks-long heatwave during my three-weeks stay in Hefei, and our initial room was 30°C (86°F) at 6pm and only slightly cooler all night long. You gotta turn AC back on when there's a heatwave or expect your customers to complain. That said, the manager on site made a good effort to move us to a North-facing (hence cooler) room and also remained patient when we rejected the first alternate room due to a distinct smell of cigarette smoke. In the end we decided to put up with the cooler-but-still-warm room because our stay at this hotel was going to last only 3 nights. Other pluses were the clean and well equipped rooms, reliable wi-fi, friendly service, and the rich breakfast buffet. The vicinity to Hefei's beautiful Xiaoyaojin park (逍遥津公园) makes it a good location, though unfortunately the closest metro stop is too far away. I would come back, but only in the winter season.

Not a single person who speaks English. Roomservice doesn’t exist, nor is it clear what times they are open. We ordered food somewhere else and they have let us wait 15minutes without communication so the food is cold. Cannot call this an international hotel. The employees don’t want to tell their name when you call them, very weird experience.
