Book now!!! Stunning veiws of the lake. The hotel is clean and provides many choices when it comes to food. The staff were friendly and welcoming. My partner mentioned to the reception staff, ( his name was Michael) that it was my birthday. Within minutes of us going up to our room a sweet treat with a birthday message on was at our door. He personally brought it up himself. Thoughtful and a tasty surprise. I had a massage in the morning, then we used the spa area our whole stay. Which was amazing, as it's situated right by the seats looking over the lake. I cannot fault any part of our stay. The bar drinks and food is reasonably priced. Generous portions, and the breakfast was great and a wide choice of food. I am looking forward to booking again, because I definitely will. Book now, you will love it ❤️

A lovely lady called Bridget took care of my daughter and I during the breakfast service. Her smile was reassuring, she asked what our plans were during our stay. As we described our plans she gave good eye contact with smile warmly. She made us feel we was talking with a long time friend: not everyone can do this. Thank you Bridget for making us feel welcome, relaxed and like we were family. Our hotel stay exceeded our expectations, clean room, fresh bedding no dust whatsoever. We would definitely stay again.

I can’t believe I’m only just getting around to reviewing the Crowne Plaza. My husband (then boyfriend) and I first stayed here in 2009, and it was a wonderful experience even then. Since that first visit, we’ve returned at least half a dozen times, and every stay has been consistently excellent. The setting is lovely—there’s something so peaceful about sitting by the lake out front, just watching the water. Our children especially enjoy the climbing frame, which is a great bonus for families. Breakfast is always a highlight: there’s a great variety on offer, and the staff are happy to prepare items like porridge on request—which was absolutely delicious, by the way. The staff are consistently warm and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. I have no doubt we’ll be staying here many more times in the future.
