We arrived Beijing airport and transferred to this hotel in HuBei province on the day of CrowdStrike. Hotel could not provide room cards due to Microsoft outage. On every floor, they stationed a bellboy with a master key to open the rooms for guests. Location wise, if you are not planning to enter Beijing City but still visit Great Wall at the Badaling section, this can be a good hotel to rest for the night. Rooms are clean with full amenities. Good breakfast spread too. On our return journey, again we spent a night here. This time it was smooth as silk.
Love this place. Food was fantastic & very grand. It was a short trip over the mountain to the Great Wall of China. I would love to visit again.
