Crowne Plaza HY36 Midtown Manhattan by IHG

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza HY36 Midtown Manhattan for a week while visiting New York. The hotel room itself is clean and well furnished. It has a mini fridge and the AC works well. The beds were comfortable and housekeeping was offered daily. The hotel has a decent fitness center and a water bottle refilling station at the gym. The hotel staff was nice and friendly. Location wise - it has a lot walk to and easy access to the subway. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. My only issue with the hotel was the noise insulation. We could hear our neighbors watching TV and flushing their toilets.

Nice hotel very close to relevant places in Midtown Manhattan. The room is fine, not too big but enough for sleeping. Cleaning is also fine. The bed was big and very comfortable. The good point is that the rooms are not directly on the street so you do not hear the noise directly. The attention is nice and they offered us umbrellas on the rainy days, much appreciated.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The room itself looked clean and generally well-kept, but the bed sheets were a major downside — they appeared dirty, used, and extremely wrinkled, which made me question whether they had been changed at all. It really took away from what could have been a comfortable stay. On a positive note, the hotel has a convenient bar and restaurant where you can eat and drink, which adds to the overall convenience. Also, the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated after a long day of travel. Overall, while the service was great and the facilities decent, the state of the bed linens needs serious improvement.
