Crowne Plaza Istanbul Old City by IHG

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Istanbul Old City Hotel and had a fantastic experience throughout. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and given a clear overview of the services available during our stay. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the T1 Metro Tram Line, which made getting around the city really convenient. The staff were always helpful and courteous—nothing was too much trouble. A special thanks to Omer from Room Service, who ensured our room was clean, fresh, and perfectly prepared every day when we returned from exploring the city. We chose the Bed and Breakfast option, and the breakfast was superb. There was a wide range of both hot and cold foods, and we especially enjoyed the freshly made omelettes prepared right in front of us by one of the chefs. Although I was aware that the hotel offered a spa and swimming pool, I didn't get the chance to use them as we were out most of the day and too tired by the time we got back—but it's a great option to have available. The bed was very comfortable, which really helped after long days of sightseeing. I had read in other reviews that traffic noise was an issue for some guests, but I can honestly say it didn’t affect our sleep at all. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I would happily return in the future. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so enjoyable.

Exceptional housekeeping by Rein! He’s from Myanmar and incredibly kind, respectful, and thoughtful. I only asked once for five waters a day and he never forgot—no reminders needed. His attention to detail is outstanding, and the room was spotless every day. One day I wasn’t feeling well and had my “Do Not Disturb” sign up. Later I noticed he had quietly left water outside my door—such a caring gesture. I also appreciated our short conversations when I happened to be in. Rein is personable, hardworking, and truly goes above and beyond. Highly recommend requesting him if you’re staying at the Crowne Plaza Istanbul Old City.

Wonderful stay – highly recommended! My friend and I stayed at this beautiful and well-kept hotel. The rooms were clean, though a bit small, but perfectly fine for our needs. The staff were polite and professional throughout our stay. A special thanks goes to Dokugan, who was there for us from the very beginning. He helped us with all our questions and made us feel very welcome. Since we are two young women, we were a bit unsure about going out in the evenings, but he gave us great suggestions and helpful advice, which made us feel much safer. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!
