Crowne Plaza London Battersea

This is an amazing place. I’ve stayed here a few times. As you enter the staff are super friendly and accommodating. We had a river suite with views that overlook the Thames. The rooms are great, huge bed and great shower. My wife particularly liked the spa facility which are usually empty so you get to enjoy them fully. The breakfast is also very good and the service is faultless. It’s right next to a heliport so sometimes at breakfast you get to see them in action. Safe to say I will be returning.

Great hotel. Offered an upgrade at check in for £10 to an executive room which was taken. Room was very big, well above average size and comfortable. Food was average and staff very friendly and professional. Good spa. The hotel has very nice decor and great views over the Thames. Only criticism is the corridor outside the rooms was very smelly. Rooms also had signs of poor maintenance and lack of upkeep. Ours had a hole in the wall where a plug used to be, bathroom had discoloured grout and sealant and telephone wasn't working.

The hotel is tucked around by the Helicopter Port over looking the river Thames in a great location... Trains and tubes are close and a short walking distance. Reception is clean and well set out.. The room was tatty, with stains on bed covers that remain in place, the carpet was stained in places and looking tatty, the furniture had been poorly repaired and over painted in places. The bed was comfy and a great size Good to have a shower and bath set up and all was very clean and well looked after. When checking out no was around so left my card and went which, the door to security behind reception was open but no one around.. All in all a nice place to stay for one or two night. There was no introduction to the hotel, or what facility's they may have had, and no obvious information in the room.. Can you use the pool for free is there a pool.. May next time
