Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport

We just wanted a room the night before our holiday. The hotel was very reasonably priced and compared to budget places. However, this is a really great hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and up-to-date. The staff are wonderful. We ordered room service for a small charge and the food was lovely. The bar was also great and the service excellent. Only downside, it was a bit further from terminal 2 than we would have liked. The parking is very expensive.

We stayed here the night before a red eye flight. The check-in with Daniel was excellent - very efficient and friendly. The room was spotless and with everything we needed. We had club lounge access included and Lewis, despite a full lounge, was very proactive and provided excellent service. We had a delicious meal at the Sampan restaurant (superb service again). It's not the closest hotel to T2 but he quality and service make up for that.

My family and I arrived late. at 01:30 from a very long day and a delayed flight. Check in was very easy and we went to our room. We had to leave again by 10am to catch our next flight. At 7am I was woken by the cleaners who started to clean the rooms next to ours, to my amazement started to make a lot of noise by the constant banging and moving of furniture ( I think) and then started hovering. I rang reception to explain the situation and they said they would ask the manager to get them to stop. They did not stop until after 8am, I presume when the room was finished. We did not get back to sleepover the noise. I did not expect this from the plaza and therefore give this review to make others aware. On checkout nothing was mentioned about the completed I made and we just left to catch our next flight.
