I would give them two more stars except no one could explain why I had a simple charge of a little over $150 on my bill after I stayed at the hotel about a month ago. The real issue is not the location or room, but dealing with their staff over the phone was a whole different story after the visit. Some demonstrated customer service, but as a whole I expected more than just the staff to say dial 0 for the hotel operator. Their hotel operator line when you dial 0 were not helpful at all in my experience and they kept sending me to other people to talk to. I got no clear explanation from anyone on the small charges. Even if they are considered a luxury hotel. If they explained why it was charged then I would be more understanding to raise the rating on the stars. I would recommend people take a look at what they are charging you at check out or better yet maybe look for a different hotel. Someone mentioned this place before on charges at check out, but thought I should bring it up again.
The room was okay. There was no microwave and no ice machine on our floor. Staff was great, however all the extra fees for staying was concerning. No one mentioned them. I knew I’d be paying for parking, but there was much more hidden fees. I booked through a third party site, and I did not read anything about the extra fees. I was supposed to only pay about 474 at check in, but it was much more due to the fees. There was no caffeinated coffee in our room except for the first day. We stayed 4 nights. This caused us to have to leave for coffee. On our third day they are supposed to do a deep clean of the room, however they just skipped our room all together that day. The staff who parked our car removed my phone holder completely from the location where it was at. So now it doesn’t stick where it needs to go again. The pool was a little cloudy the first day or so when we got there. We stayed out of it. By our third day it looked a bit better. The location of the pool causes the sun to not hit it until 1 pm. The rooms are very noisy. The pipes are pretty loud. We probably won’t be staying again. Overall not a terrible stay, but not the best.
The price was too high per night for a place of this condition. The first one they put me in was frightening. I went to the front desk to complain. The second room was just as bad. The rooms need to be updated. They were very worn. The toilet was so low. I thought I was using a bucket. What I did like was the water pressure, it was excellent and security, you can’t use the elevator without the key to your room . Keep strangers away I felt safer. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
