Crowne Plaza Plymouth by IHG

We did a one night stay to attend Plymouth Sessions. Check in was prompt and the reception staff very welcoming and polite. Our room was lovely and spacious, we had everything we needed. The bathroom was a little dated, a bit grubby from age but all clean. Breakfast was brilliant, so much choice and the view from the Penthouse restaurant is amazing. We used the pool, steam room and sauna- very adequate, but we did find the pool a little on the cold side. Overall though a lovely hotel and we will stay again.

Super friendly service. Especially from Mike in the Concierge Club Lounge. Easy check in with all the necessary info provided without asking. Fabulous location. Sea view rooms make the stay. Air con works really well in the 30 degree heat. Don’t normally stay with this chain but quite impressed.

Standards are quite low in rooms. We booked a premium room with sea view and exec lounge. The carpet had a massive wine stain, door didn't close without force and window handle broken. Lounge was poorly stocked with snacks and drinks - their provision has really dropped since the last visit. Staff are very nice though and were very helpful.
