Crowne Plaza San Jose La Sabana by IHG

A very comfortable place to experience San Jose and Costa Rica in general. The hotel has a tour service, a car rental and a small store for these purposes. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, which allows for a great rest. The breakfast is of high quality and provides local and international dishes all of which are fresh and pleasant. I would like to highlight the friendliness of the staff throughout this hotel. Especially, I would like to extend my gratitude to Yosdan for his wonderful hospitality and attentiveness during our stay. I would also like to thank William at the Nattivo restaurant, as well as Eric. Additionally, a shout-out to the talented young man who makes great omelettes during the morning!

My wife and I stayed here for our first time in Costa Rica; it was THE BEST experience for us. I would like make note that Yosdan and his manager on duty the day of our arrival were the best. During our conversation Yosdan found out that it was our anniversary trip particularly the very next day. Some how he kept track of our in/out because the next day as we came back from our day, he had a little something delivered to our room within 10 minutes of us being back! It was the nicest thing!! I called the front desk to inquire on how to dial a phone number for a tour and the desk manager just offered to take care of the entire process for us! Everyone was always ready to help and made sure that our stay was always as expected. Restaurant Nattivo was good, the Tilapia Ceviche was delicious as well as the Casado de lomo; the lobby bar had live music while we were there and was nice experience as well. We are going to be back with the family to Costa Rica and will definitely return here!!

WARNING - This is a long review grab a Costa Rican coffee. Room We changed rooms as our first room had a unbearable smell. A huge thank you to Scarleth on reception and Estefan Guest Relations Manager who made arrangements for us to change rooms a few days later. Nice rooms but personally I prefer tiled floors. I think the carpets should be removed and will really make a better impression. Cleanliness The hotel areas are spotless, always being cleaned. Restaurant Amazing selection of food at breakfast, fresh fruits, pastries, eggs and omelettes of your choice made by the lovely young man on the omelette station (sorry I forgot your name). Thank you Hiener - Restaurant Manager and to all the restaurant staff who served us with a smile every morning and evening, Robert, Joseph, Edward, William, Einer, Orlando, Jennifer, and Kirstan. What can I say about Yorlenny, thank you so much for ensuring I was looked after when I took ill, you are an asset to the hotel going above and beyond for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Lastly Luci, you are so lovely. Thank you and Jorlenny working secretly with me to plan a surprise for my sisters birthday. The ballons were so beautiful. I enjoyed my stay your staff were amazing!
