Crowne Plaza Sanya City Center by IHG

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of group tour. Guest room was very comfortable, big and clean. Had technical issues when checking in, rooms card weren’t working for everyone in the group tour so had to go up and down to solve the issue. Breakfast buffet was widespread but many are very oily stir fry dishes. Staff was clueless when the coffee beans need beans/milk replacement. Overall, i like the rooms and very restful stay and would probably stay here again.

Pros- near to city centre. Nice breakfast. Friendly staffs. Comfortable bed. Amenities fully provided Cons- Old but clean toilet. Maintenance needed. Can be Noisy at night.

Came here for the seafood buffet. Cooked food was mediocre and had poor selection of meat as I saw only lamb and chicken. Was expecting beef and pork but nowhere to be seen. Hotpot was disastrous. Chicken soup was tasteless, every ingredient that I placed in the soup came out bland. I had to dip everything in soy sauce otherwise it would be very hard to stomach it. Sushi and sashimi were equally terrible. For a buffet, one would expect salmon sashimi, tuna or something as bare minimum but no. The maki rolls were also disappointing.
