Crowne Plaza Sanya Yazhou Bay

Great value for your money. Price is very reasonable. Hotel is a bit dated, but well maintained and kept very clean. They were also very kind to upgrade us without us even asking. Room was very nice and super clean. Staff is also very kind. English can be challenging, but I don’t expect the whole world to speak perfect English. Special thanks to Boannie and another guy from the reception(forgot his name) that spoke good English and spent extra time to help us with certain things. Definitely recommended hotel for your stay in Sanya.

It's a bit out of town. Much of the staff don't speak any English and the ones that do are just passable. Room service is a challenge. But lovely and helpful staff, and my rudimentary chinese was much appreciated. The site is lovely, just on the beach... but on the flight path to the airport, which is only 15 minutes away. So .... In all a 5 star view with a 3 star ambience.. I expected the full package afterall its Crowne Plaza!

This hotel only deserves 2 stars max. May be it is China inland 5 stars hotel 40 years ago. Receptionist got no smile nor service. Rooms are old and bad conditions. Room services people knock on doors with strangers. Breakfast and dinner buffets are very low standard. Seats are dirty. When move in, I was really shocked. Close by beaches are not attractive. Surrounding areas got nothing to offer. Swimming pools.... errr...... Only merit is that it is close to airport, otherwise will not recommend what so ever.
