Crowne Plaza Shenzhen Longgang City Centre by IHG

I chose this hotel with mixed feelings, as while there were numerous positive reviews, there were also a few negative comments. We were fortunate enough to have Daisy Guo assist us during check-in. She was upfront about the possibility of noise from either side of the room and kindly allowed us to choose our preference. However, during our three-day stay, we did not experience any noise. The hotel went the extra mile by providing two pairs of 3M soundproof earplugs in the room, which we appreciated. Daisy's friendly and helpful attitude left a very positive impression. We were slightly disappointed to learn that a swimming cap was required for pool use, but the female staff member who assisted us was extremely dedicated and went out of her way to resolve the issue. While the pool was a bit too deep for us, her attentiveness to our comfort and feelings stood out, even though there was no fault on her part. The buffet was excellent, offering variety each day with thoughtful changes to keep things interesting for long-term guests. The food at the Chinese restaurant was wonderful, and if you decide to skip the buffet breakfast, I highly recommend having breakfast at the Chinese restaurant, especially their all-you-can-eat and drink (任飲任食) menu! That said, there was one instance where a front desk staff member was less than helpful when I inquired about a delivery. She simply told me, in a rather cold manner, that deliveries would be placed on a table near the entrance. In contrast, concierge staff member Sear Lin was outstanding. He proactively offered assistance and consistently maintained his helpful attitude throughout our handling of delivery order. Additionally, the newly opened 大运天地 (Dayun Tiandi) is very close by, enhancing the appeal of this hotel. The room amenities were of high quality, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. While the hotel could benefit from some renovation, it is still well-maintained overall. In brief, we enjoy our stay in this hotel!

Very nice stay in the hotel for 4 nights during a business trip. Luxury hotel with all you need. Credit cards are widely accepted for room payments, restaurants and bars. It has a nice swimming pool and a gym.

Decent place. Nice lounge. Restaurant has a good spread for breakfast, dinner is decent as well. Construction outside can get noisy at times.
