Crowne Plaza Sydney Macquarie Park by IHG

Had a great stay over two nights. Rooms were spacious however lightening wasn’t the best. Staff were friendly and efficient, especially Kelly at reception and Rorie and Serena at the Bar/Bistro. Happy hour between 4-6 PM and added bonus. Would definitely be back. I did leave a charger and lead in room 515 and I have made contact with the hotel. Hopefully they’ll keep it at reception for me.

Booked in for last minute staycation last Saturday. Room price was quite a good deal, paid $197 and got a room for 2 adults 2 kids, inclusive of buffet breakfast & parking on site. Check in & check out was a breeze with Kelly at the front desk. Very helpful & friendly. Room was clean & spacious. Bathroom a bit dated but could do with better ventilation from the exhaust fans & sink takes a long time for the water to clear. Might be slightly clogged up. Buffet breakfast was very busy but the queue was moved along quite swiftly by Diana. Rorie that helped us to our table & set it all up was very lovely & swift at his job. All in all a pleasant stay, good location & value for money!

Rooms are small and have cracks in the furniture. Service was good on the first two days after that the cleaning team didn’t even remove the trash from the room. Breakfast just works if you arrive early. We passed by around 10am just to grab a juice or a cup of coffee to go and one of the gentleman there was very aggressive in how they were going to close in 30 minutes. Mind you, 30 minutes when we didn’t even want to seat at the place. Just grab and go. I had a couple of Zoom meetings with a different time zone and when asked for rooms with quiet place to talk at 2 and 3 am local they denied the request and in just one day the lady reduce the volume of the sound. Location is good because is near a great mall. Not coming back.
